Assalamu alaykum I want to hear pple opinion about getting married to a soldier, though pple do say a lot bad things about dem, buh I want to blive dat there are good once out there,plsss help with a word of encouragement, advice ND good things about them.

I don't think its a bad idea because it depends on the individual, though Nigerian soldiers usually have a bad reputation which is true but that is NOT a reason to say all of them are bad, do your homework well study the person deeply then make a decision. All the best sister

it's not an issue in as much as you make a good investigation about his life. make sure he doesn't smoke, drink or humanised thats all, and make sure he is a practicing Muslim he doesn't play with salat. all this things are what we don't look at when getting married to someone

One thing i can boldly say about Nigerian military personnel is that Azzalumai ne, they only know how to oppress people and engage in corrupt practices because unfortunately, we live in a country that does not punish crime or misconduct. i will never allow my daughter get married to 1.

I am married to a man in uniform - land army. and I can proudly say that uniform men are the best. What people tend to forget is that, a bad person is a bad person. whether with uniform or not. So many bad acts happen and they are not soldiers. My advice to you is to take the uniform aside and prioritize his character and deen. if you feel he is the right man for your children, then go ahead and marry him. I repeat, a bad person is a person, with or without uniform. I will always choose my husband over any civilian . Above all, do istikhara and pray. May Allah choose the best for you
