In my opinion, the biggest reason why guys asked about women's virginity is because if the guy is a virgin, then he also want to marry a virgin. Salim narrated it from his father ('Abdullah b. Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When women ask permission for going to the mosque, do not prevent them. Sahih Muslim 442 a. If a woman ask for permission to go to the masjid, one should not prevent her but if her husband does not allow her, she is to obey him as making obedience to him is obligatory.. Even if she is to go to the i'tikaf and her husband objects to it, she should obey him and should not go to i'tikaf. But a woman is not allowed to prevent the woman from going to the masjid without a reason. If she observed her proper hijab, does not perfume, then he is to allowed her as doing so is obedience to the Sunnah. May Allah s.w.t protects and safeguard us to the truth. Amiin
