How does the matchmaking app work?

i'm new here, how does the matchmaking app work? basic payment restricts you to seeing only certain users? cause since i paid yesterday i have been seeing same people like i have to decide within just them or? someone enlighten me please

even the users that are shown aren’t responding to messages. I don’t see the use of renewing the premium plan.

those users u see are the only ones that have paid I guess.. that’s why u keep seeing them
