My boyfriend is dirty, how can I politely help? 1

my boyfriend of about 5 months is dirty and I don't know how to talk to him without hurting his self esteem. He doesn't dress neatly, he doesn't brush well because his teeth are yellow, his nails are always dirty and I have to beg him to cut them or even bring a nail cutter to cut them myself sometimes. his hair is unkempt, he doesn't barb well or even style it in any fancy way. When I speak of hygiene or neatness casually, he says women are the ones expected to be clean. please help me with advice. How do I make him improve? because I'm tired. I'm not attracted to him because of this hygiene issue but he's a really good person that I don't want to lose.

Dear poster.. Keep trying your best. When you're married he might change. I know of these my friends su biyu.. They’re very dirty.. Ko sallah bana so atyms na hada sahu dasu.. Ko zaman majalisa, i try to distance myself from them. But yanzun da sukayi aure sun canja gaskiya. Mostly mayb gurin da suke zama ne ba ruwa ko toilet..

First of all ,you have to change his mindset/view on "Women are the ones expected to be clean" . Tell him that even men are expected to be neat in the society and relationship too. And make sure to prove it by appreciating his dressing and other things ,plus flattering him too . Inkuma yaqiya runaway ooo

It's not easy to make a dirty person see the light but then why not pick 3days in a month as hygiene days.....so you'd both get "haircut, pedicure, manicure or anything that will make him get used to it as a routine. since talking about it seems offensive
