Are you currently dating Hausa man? Hausa men are very good in terms of taking care of marriage but you know in every tribe we have the good and the bad ones so I pray may Almighty Allah find you the righteous person amin

From observation, I feel there will be problems that will be hard to overcome and expectations that will be difficult to fulfill. Hausa culture expects wives to be homemakers with earning as a mere hobby or at best, a supplement, Yoruba women are taught to be highly industrious and income focused. Sometimes they are the primary bread winners in their homes even when married. This would make any Hausa man feel neglected in his home and he will feel resentful that his children are not well taken care of. There is also the issue of polygyny; Yoruba women; even Muslimas; are not brought up in a culture where this is rampant and often do not know how to take the idea of a second wife maturely. This can lead to conflict later on if the man should marry again. But I guess it can be made to work with discussions prior to marriage, only the couple should be ready to be very patient.
