its because of a number of reasons: a. Its because people especially the male gender doesn't value what they don't work for. think about it, the things that are most precious in this world require alot of effort to get. in an ideal situation, telling a boy you like him should lead to good results rather it makes him arrogant and thinks since she comes to me easily, she doesn't have much value, no other person likes her. b. ignorance. this shows a person with a very narrow and closed mind. i don't advice women to to ever tell a boy they like him first coz it puts them at a disadvantage in the relationship.
