what is your clue about marrying a girl with sikle cell like koda Abun baya damunta is there any problem with that ko da kae namijin is AA i mean the issue about family baa tsangwamar su hka ko wani abu cox i wanna marry a girl shes SS nd Am AA shes just 21 yrs idan ba fda akai ba baxama ka yarda ta na da shi ba cox ko kadan be nuna ajikinta ba the only issue here is wajen Auren hka baa samun mtsl ta wajen iyayen Ango pls help me

Am kind of emotional taking this question. Am not a sickler but am from a sickle cell family. My mum and 4 of my siblings are sicklers. Marrying a girl with SS genotype isn't a problem if u are AA. Amma pls b4 saying yes, talk to ur family about that, let them know and agree to ur decision. Ba kowa yake ganewa ba, kar azo ana tsangwan ta, and pls take care of her, support her, be patient with her and her condition. Allah ya yassare muku. Amin

people with Sickle cell anaemia (SS) can go about with their daily activities. They just need to avoid things that precipitate their crisis, regular follow up in the hospital (which can be once in 2 or 3months), then take their routine drugs. you have to make ur pple understand that ur children will be carriers(AS) not SS. If there'll be problem, u can be quiet about it as long as u r sure of ur genotype. Lastly, be supportive
