Taking Pictures During Umrah And Hajj 11

A large number of Muslim now consider it a must to snap lots of picture during their visit to the Holy land even during performing the rites of Hajj/Umrah, Please this is wrong, our mind should be on our ibadah not on snapping pictures just to impress some people or for show off, Please we should do the right thing. Kannywood Actors/Actresses should take note. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

its true, especially kannywood celebs that are all over social media to prove to the entire world they have gone to Hajj/Umrah.

I don't think it's entirely, it depends on the person's motive. if you take pictures for fun/snapping sake it's fine but if you are taking with the intention of putting it out to go viral and show off your deed then it's wrong. some even go to the extent of putting more priority to the picture than the worship. babbar Asara

Praise be to Allah Taking photos during Umrah in the place of worship is not permissible for two reasons: Firstly: they are doing that so that they can keep the pictures for memories, and any photo that is intended to be kept for memories is haraam. Secondly: that is usually not free from showing off, because people take pictures to show to others that they have done Umrah. Hence, as mentioned , they raise their hands in supplication when they are not actually offering supplication; rather it is only for the purpose of taking the picture. But if there is a need for that, because this man is doing Hajj/Umrah on behalf of someone else, so he says: Take a picture so that I can prove that I have done Hajj/umrah, then after it reaches the one who delegated him to do umrah on his behalf he tears up the picture, then there is nothing wrong with that, because there is a need for it, and the purpose behind it is not to keep it for memories.

Taking pictures during umrah and hajj is not good i remebered one hadith dayake cewa "إنَّمَا الأعمَال بالنِّيَّاتِ وإِنَّما لِكُلِّ امريءٍ ما نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إلى اللهِ ورَسُولِهِ فهِجْرَتُهُ إلى اللهِ ورَسُوْلِهِ ومَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيْبُها أو امرأةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا فهِجْرَتُهُ إلى ما هَاجَرَ إليهِ" though the hadith is referring to hijrah but we can still apply it here means duk Wanda yaje umrah KO hajj dan yayi pictures mutane sugani sakomakon aikin sa naga wannan aikin Wanda kuma yaje Dan Allah sakomakon aikinsa naga Allah🙏🏻Allah yasa mudace
