Some (researchers) say it happens when your mind wakes up before your body which makes sense to certain extent, it's still mysterious though and I don't know which to believe.

Well, I use to experience this before, I can say it's beyond sleeping disorder because I feel a presence when it happens and when I start saying Du'a in my mind it fades away. There was a day I woke up paralyzed couldn't move and all of a sudden I started hearing a voice, I was so scared, but I decided to withstand it to see where it ends, my breath was becoming slower with a huge pressure on my chest, I got very scared to death, I started shouting Du'a in my mind and it started to fade away all these happened within a minute. All I want to say is that it can be a sleeping disorder in some cases and Jinns may be involved sometimes. My personal experience

I advice you go see a doctor and hear from them and if they are unable to solve the problem or come up with any explanation, then go to Islamic chemist. Thank you....
