Should I pay the fine or not? 0

He needs your advice 🙏🏾 He got the UK Commonwealth full scholarship for MSc Data Science, but he presently works in Nigeria and earns N420k per month. To leave his job which he started 2 months ago, he signed a bond to pay his employer N3 million as a fine. I'm 23 yrs old What should he do?

pay the fine and leave for your study. at same time in UK you can work and study allot of opportunities there. I have a brother he has the same situation with your. he left the Job for his study after he finished he study ya dawo ya samu aiki da ya finada

First of all, legally speaking such bond is only applicable if your employer is investing in your training. considering it’s only been two months I doubt anything has kickstarted. Unless you provided a guarantor who is mandated to pay the money in the event you leave, I doubt it’s legally enforceable. I’ve never signed such agreement but then, if you have time before needing to leave for the scholarship, I believe you should still be on probabtion, and you can just lowball so they terminate your employment. show up late, a work you should finish by Tuesday, give excuses and submit it on the following Monday or even the following Thursday, our deliberate actions to being an underperformed and they’ll most likely terminate you with severance 😂
