I think you should respect her opinion and send the old man away. maybe she's the type that loves affection And craves the fun that comes with young love, something she might not get enough of from the old man. I'm not necessarily saying she should keep waiting for one person but she could be patient enough to find her type by the will of Allah. If it were her opinion in the first place then fine, but I think It's very wrong to get married to anyone out of mere marriage opportunity. I wouldn't like that for my sister....
