I found $400 in an envelope a Airport, what should i do? 1

Happened this morning in Abuja Airport, I saw it in the toilet. I have been thinking of what to do with it since then. I am not confident in reporting it to the authorities because we all know how Nigeria is.

Subhanallah, why will you advice someone to do that? if he can't find the owner then let him do sadaqa with the money, it is not halal for him to spend it

Dear poster just report it to the airport authority,when they heard of anyone looking for it,se su hadaka da meshi because even if you go into the money babu abinda xeyimaka sbd ba halal enka bane,kayi hkr kayi reporting na Allah basa karewa a duniya sekaga sanadiyyar hakan wata daukaka taxo maka,edan kuma ba’a samu please find something reasonable kayi da kudin,by giving it out to charity se ubangiji yabaka lada

If you can't find the owner for a year you can spend it or use it for sadaqa its all yours, and pls don't report it to the authorities.

I also don't suggest reporting to authorities. Ungulu da kan zabo knan... Let the Instagram houses of northern marriages, turarenwuta, northern hibiscus and them likes help you publicize. Anyone that comes claiming should be asked their denomination, their packaging and what not. If you're satisfied with their answer, you hand it over to them.
