i don't know how to be patient during trying times sometimes am patient sometimes i loose my cool.
assalam alaikum bro... its not easy, its really difficult, is extremely hard, and the was case we dont know when it will end right? but what makes me feel better is that Allah SWT knows, and as long as you put your forehead on ground during your five days daily prayer... then Allah will give you the strength to contiune to be strong till the time of ease... remember in suratul baqarah Allah SWT said; izaa saaluka iibadi anni qulluhum inni qaribb, wu'jibbul dauwal da ii izaa da'a (iwhen my worshipers ask you about me, tell them AM (Allah) close by, I answer the prayers of a supplicant when they (either man or woman) pray.
dont allow shytan to incfleunce you by going out of control and try to build you taqwa
may almighty Allah ease the hardship and trials for you my brother...
thank you soo much though am a woman thank you soo much for the advice

Dear poster
From my 2 cents...
You see patience isn't really something one can easily do but then you see one thing I have learnt this past few weeks I that patience equals submission. I have been in thesame situation as you if not worse thou I still get the attack once in a while (yes I call it an attack because that's how it comes for me) but one way I have learnt to control it is by submitting to Allah's will, hence the reason I said patience is Submission
you see Allah never allows anything to exist and happen except in due time it will be beneficial to you which is why you have to exercise patient
you see Allah's will is what is out of our control and what do we do when things are out of out control? you exercise patient and be steadfast in your Deen
how do we become steadfast in our Deen?
learn more about the deen, see ways you could improve in practicing Islam, draw closer to your Lord and distance yourself from stuffs that makes you impatient and also makes you sad, recite the Quran often and make sure you always keep up a positive vibe e.g when your set on something, always be optimistic about it and no negative vibes
you could also try listening to Islamic podcasts e.g Sheikh Abdulfattah Adeyemi on Muslim Central and also on Spotify. I have been following his lectures recently and I must say I feel better this days and I know I WILL BE OKAY so pls jst try it out..
