My father of-course. this shouldn't even be a question. which kind of husband will even ask you to do the opposite of what your dad is telling you in his presence?

Depending on why they both said what they said, but i'll listen to my dad, i mean he has been with me since i was a baby why will i disrespect him for a man i married for sometime? I can marry someone else but i can't get another dad.

Sincerely, You should follow your husband, the moment you are married, he has more authority (permit me to use such word) on you than your dad, you only disobey your husband if he wants you to do something that is haram, and trust me, the scenario you posted here is unlikely to happen. We should seek more knowledge on this from learned Islamic scholars that are close by. Cheers

Subhanallah, i cant believe the wrong advice you receiving, sweetheart you are married now, no longer entitled to your dad. You are now entitled to your husband. Only he has the right over you, Aljannar ki na karkashin kafan shi, sai ya daga zaki shiga. Biko obey hubby, except if what he is asking you to do is haram. And pls parents try to stop ruling your childrenā€™s life when they get married, make life easier for them bikošŸ™

U must follow ur husband before ur father because the prophet S. A. W said "if a man can bow to his fellow he will ask a wife to bow down for her husband " what this is trying to show that been obedient to husband is very important if it is nt against the rules of Allah pls follow ur husband and be obedient to him so that u can have a successful marriage life
