Yeah I agree with you, but I think If join our hands together both government and folks we can do something better. Peoples in the north need more enlightenment about FAMILY PLANNING and it's permission in our religions, because our character shows that we just loves given the birth but once it comes to taking the responsibilities that's our weakness. Insha Allah once we makes the effort we will see the progress

Exactly, you just enter normal Anguwa, you see one man having income of barely 20k a month with 2-3 wives and over 15-kids. i have been saying this for a long time, if something is not done about this nonesense, a heavy price will be paid. its already happening, look at the rise in crime and in-security in the country.

Wlhy like today I passed through a street in samaru in kaduna state and I saw a group 10-15 of almajiris within the age of 5 and 15 sitting starving. Now tell me if I should feed them for a month wont they do whatever I send to??...that's the cause of banditry, kidnapping and bh in the north now

People don't understand the magnitude of this Almajiri problem. Also society is to be blamed because the stupid people who commit this crime of child-neglect and abandonment are always victimized and sometimes even applauded by society (wai sunnah suke yi, the prophet SAW will be proud of them), imagine. these people should be criticized and painted black, that's why the behavior is so common because it has been accepted by society with open hands. smh. This Al-majiri problem and high birth rate by stupid people is enough to sink this country.
