In choosing a business, I think the ones that are best are those that solve people's basic needs. Something that people will always come back for. Look around your environment what are the things you think they'll need? You should focus on serving them. It could be anything but I recommend perfume business. it is very lucrative and people always come back for it especially if they're getting value for their money. I hope your marketing skills are good

poultry farming, the fact that the birds and their feeds are quite expensive, alot of people eat chicken daily and their poop (birds) are sold to farmers as fertilizer

I'll suggest you should look for something you can do and also you should look into your environment and see what sort of commodity is mostly consumed. You know all businesses have challenges, I'll advice you shouldn't give up when you start your business and it's not blooming the way you expected it to be. I wish you all the best.

1 million naira of today is not much, if this was pre-buhari leadership it could have done alot for you and even make you a mini millionaire within a decade if you are lucky, but today 1 million naira is just a little above $1000 which in the past was about $5000. I said this just to say some background about the challenging economy which you already have in mind. Import business used to be good but not anymore because of the Naira devaluation. so i think you trade something, if you have a big circle start with wears and outfits, or go into poultry as some people suggested but make sure you have You or Someone with experience to kickstart your poultry to avoid loss

Do you have any skills, if you do and you are passionate about it then I can advise you to monetize it. In absence of skills I always recommend bolt/Uber etc. If you can raise 600k more or ask him to increase the budget 😉. Get a durable car shi kenan. Jewelry business is also very profitable... Or you can open a small kiosk and sell fast food items, the likes of indomie, burger, Shawarma, smoothies etc.make it affordable.Lasstly look around your environment and see what they need

This bolt stuff is not booming in many places. If his location is Abuja or Lagos or cities like that, then it's a very nice idea. I would love to do that too but my location doesn't patronise such services much.

I have spoken to several drivers and they say it's profitable, about 300k monthly on a good month. One said he only works weekends and he makes 50k.so gaskiya it's bumming in kano. And the profit is worth relocating.. Even if you don't live in the cities where bolt/Uber operates

I live in Kaduna and there is bolt, the issue is buying the car which will cost about 2m for a Good car that wouldn't be giving me issues, e.g a corolla or camry or Ford. and my limit is 1m but i would have considered that,

But the 300k includes the costs for fuel and maintenance right, so he may be getting an actual profit of about 180-220k which i really Good. If i had more capital i would have tried it
