It may not be necessarily an ADHD, there are so many events in our lives that results to these symptoms of ADHD you've just mentioned. But trace back to your past, there might be an events that led you to this condition, may be heartbreak , academic stress etc .Allah ya sawwake . Amin

My Dear Sister... I’m really sorry you’re going through such a tough time. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, and you don’t have to face this alone. Your feelings are valid, and you matter a lot. Try to be kind to yourself—even small steps like resting, taking a deep breath, or doing something simple can help a little. Remember, this hard phase won’t last forever, and brighter days are ahead. Know that you're not a burden, and you are loved more than you know. May Allah ease your affairs for you

I feel you sis. In this part of the world when you say you have ADHD it's seen as though you're making it up. When I suspected I had it and told those close to me I think could assist in ascertaining, they all shrugged it off. One was like "na oyibo you be?" So yeah, it's underated or misunderstood. And when it takes effects and affects your daily life, people talk and blame you for the negative outcomes. Thinking some things are done deliberately. Sometimes the harder you try for things not to go sideways the easier they go sideways 😅. But hey looking at the bright side, it has its own perks. ADHDers are somewhat superhumans 😁😁 We can do things exceptionally. Our brains are wired differently, we think on a whole different level, we're creative, talented (sometimes useless talents 😆) we have higher emotional intelligence and could relate to many scenarios or instances, we understand people. It feels like you have lived many lives to be able to relate to almost anything another person is going through. You can finish people sentences in your head before they do. We notice almost everything. Good observers. Your way of calculating or solving problems is weird and even different but on point Kai the list goes on. There's too much noise going on in ones head too. It's hardly ever quiet. One thought leads to another and branches go another like a chain reaction. So sis, as you know and already mentioned, it's not a sickness, defect or a handicap. I personally see it as a superpower, even though the downside of it really gets to me, like the temporary forgetfulness, getting overwhelmed, the procrastination etc. Though not all ADHDers experience all or the same things. So cheer up. You could use it to your advantage. Then again it depends on your environment and people around you.
